Here is an explanation of the fields in the table: 1. Image identifier (more on this below) 2. Year (1997 or 1998) 3. Day of year (1 = Jan 1, 365 = Dec 31) 4. Month 5. Day of month 6. Time (GMT) 7. Latitude of SHEBA station (degrees north) 8. Longitude of SHEBA station (degrees east, hence negative) 9. X coordinate of SHEBA station (kilometers) (see Geolocation section in Sea Ice Imagery Homepage) 10. Y coordinate of SHEBA station (kilometers) (see Geolocation section in Sea Ice Imagery Homepage) 11. Incidence angle at SHEBA station (degrees) (see Incidence Angle section in Sea Ice Imagery Homepage) The image identifier (ID) is the name assigned by the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF). For example, the first image ID in the table is: R110406261P3S010. All the image IDs start with "R1", which means "RADARSAT-1". The next 5 digits are the orbit number, such as 10406 in the example. The next 3 digits are the frame number, such as 261 in the example.
