readme.sfc      Readme file for UAH WXT520 4M surface station data

The UAH WXT510 surface station data files are named wxt510_YYYYMMDD_sfc.dat, where:

YYYY     -> year
MM       -> month
DD       -> day
sfc.dat -> sfc station data

A sample data line is given below:

The data file records, column by column, are:

9     ->  Wind Speed (m/s)
10    ->  Rain Total (mm)
11    ->  Rain Intensity (mm/hr)
12    ->  Hail Total (mm)
13    ->  Hail Intensity (hits/cm2h)
 
Data is collected at 5 sec intervals.

Know Data Issues:

Data only avauiable for the following IOPs
IOP1
IOP2
IOP3
IOP4
IOP21

Bad data is denoted by -999.99
