Raynolds, C.R. Martin, and D.A. Walker, Moody, A.. This data report summarizes information that was collected as part of the NSF-sponsored Arctic Transitions in the Land-Atmosphere System (ATLAS) project called "Arctic Climate Change, Substrate, and Vegetation" (OPP- 9908829). A wide variety of vegetation properties were measured across the climate gradient in northern Alaska and the Seward Peninsula, in areas of different geology and soils. This data report summarizes vegetation data that were collected in the vicinity of Council and Quartz Creek (Figures 2-5) during the period from June 26 to July 29, 2000. This product was partially funded by the LAII/ATLAS project. The latitude/longitude of the center of the map referred to is 65.50 N, 1650 W DATA FORMAT: File Name = 2000_sewardreport.pdf (PDF Format). It is a 125page report. File size is 40.1 MB. This final version of the data file was submitted to JOSS 04/15/2002.
