ATLAS: Shrub Lines Snow Depths and Temperatures This dataset contains data taken by the Snow, Shrubs, and Weather Group at the Ivotuk site as part of the ATLAS project. Snow depths and temperatures of the snow ground interface were measured along the vegetation transects every meter. Measurements were taken periodically from November of 1998 until June of 2000. See below for the investigator's notes. ATLAS Sturm and others Snow depths and temperatures of the snow ground interface were measured along the three vegetation transects that crossed site 2 Depths and temperatures were measured with thermistor probe rods with measuring tape up the sides. Temperatures are good to +- 0.2—C Depths are good to +-0.5 cm Measurements were taken every meter along the lines.
