readme.ceilometer       Readme file for ceilometer data         (D.Phillips)

Data is split into IOP’s

Within each IOP there is a /data and /images directories. 

Ceilometer files are named cloYYYYMMDD.dat, where:

YYYY -> Year
MM   -> Month
DD   -> Day

For ceilometer data format please refer to the document "clo_data_description.doc"

Images are broken into 4KM and 15KM files

Image file are named clo_YYYYMMDD_bsHHkm.png, where:

YYYY -> Year
MM   -> Month
DD   -> Day
HH   —> is the Height in km
Where bs is the backscatter plot 

Before you use any of this data, please contact us for recent updates and
possible corrections to the data sets.
