--- Background

This is standard meteorology observations made by a Vaisala all-weather met station.  The station was positioned on a rod about 10.2 feet above the top of the CLAMPS-2 trailer (which is about 8.5 feet above the ground).  Occassional dropouts exist in the data due to issues with the serial communication with the station and its datasystem. Verify orientation of data before using wind direction/componets. These data may not be rotated!
