The Data file includes community data from a Carex-meadow in
Latnjajaure, Sweden, from 1994 and 1998 with a warming treatment
(OTC).

Because these plots were used to study the effect of warming on
phenology, reproduction and growth of Carex bigelowii, all flowers of
this species within the OTCs were hand pollinated. To control for the
hand pollination effect there are two controls, one hand pollinated
(CP) and one not hand pollinated (C). Community data for both control
plots are included in the file, but both should be treated as ordinary
controls.

A 100x100 cm frame was used with 100 points.

The recordings were not identical in both years:  1. In 1994 only one
hit was recorded (the first), irrespective of layer. In 1998 one hit
was recorded in each of the layers, canopy and bottom layer.  1. In
1994 the canopy height was not recorded.  3. Because the OTCs used were
a bit smaller than the standard, the 100x100 cm frame did not fit
perfectly within them and therefore the points outside the OTC contour
were recorded in 1998, i.e.  sometimes less than 100 points per plot.
4. In 1998 Plot 7, TREATMENT C was destroyed.

The data file includes the following columns:
