Latnjajaure file info The Latnjajaure CLIP experiment was initiated in 1995 with a "before" pointframing of all plots. (CLIP = Community Level Interaction Program). The experiment comprises four replicate blocks, each of which with ten plots. Two of the blocks (CLIP1 & CLIP2) are in a mesic meadow, CLIP3 & 4 in a poor, dry heath. The B treatment in the plot names stands for "birch"; here 10,000 mountain birch seeds per square meter were sawn in 1996, but they hardly germinated these plots are now just replicates for the other treatments. .In each block, the following treatments have been applied: C1 control # 1 C2 control # 2 C3 control # 3 B = C (#4) T temperature (standard OTC) TB (or TB) = T (#2) F fertilizer (N and P, same methods as at Toolik) FB (or BF) = F (#2) FT fertilizer + temperature FTB = FT (#2) Thus, the experiment has a fully factorial design and follows the BACI (Before-After-Control-Impact) design. All plots were pointframed in full in 1995, 1997, and 1999. In 1996, a reduced pointframing was conducted with all C2 and C3 plots omitted. In 2000, only the bottom layer was investigated. The data has been transferred as four Excel files (one per block), each containing ten worksheets (one per plot). Files were created by Jrgen Pettersson in December 2000 and January 2001. Ulf Molau
