Grant numbers must be cited in any manuscripts resulting from these data. In addition, a copy of the manuscript must be sent to the PI. DATA SET OVERVIEW: This file contains snow depth data collected at the Imnavait Creek Grid during the winter of 2001-2002. The grid is part of the International Tundra Experiment network. The goal of this project is to assess potential changes in tundra plant communities in response to global climate change. Time period covered by data: 20011027 to 20020415 Physical location of measurement: Imnavait Creek, Alaska; 405800E 7613200N (NW corner of grid) 406600E 7612300N (SE corner of grid); 68.620000 N, 149.590000 W DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING: We collected data every six weeks during the winter of 2001 - 2002, beginning 27 October, 2001. Snow depth was measured with an active layer probe at each plot. DATA FORMAT: File name: IMNAVAIT_snwdepth01-02.txt SUMMARY OF VARIABLES FOR 2001-2002 DATA 1. SITE: country/site/project title 2.
