The 2DS images are 128 bits high. Each pixel is 10um. The sample rate of the instruments was synchronized to the true airspeed of the aircraft to make the pixels roughly square. There were 4 sources of 2DS images: both the Horizontal and Vertical channels of 2DSs owned by ECCC, and NRC. One source was chosen per flight and is denoted in the png filenames. The name of the png files also contains the approximate date and time before the first buffer printed in that file. One 1024bit wide buffer is printed for each second of a flight if data existed for that time.
