overview:

SPURS-2, the second of the SPURS field campaigns took place in a fresh and rainy 
area of the eastern Tropical Pacific in the Fall of 2017. Seventy nine upper-air 
soundings were taken in support of the SPURS-2 cruise and first deployment of the 
Colorado State University Sea-Pol radar.
