HX260CTDdata.readme R.A.Woodgate, March 2006 ======================== Documentation to go with Alpha Helix cruise HX260 data, June 2002, Cruise leader: Rebecca Woodgate, woodgate@apl.washington.edu Funding: ONR (N00014-99-1-0345, Aagaard & Woodgate) and NSF (OPP-0125082, Grebmeier) NOTES: ====== This is calibrated CTD downcast data from the Alpha Helix Cruise, mooring recovery and redeployment cruise June 2002. Data was post-caled and adjusted to bottle samples by Seth Danielson UAF. This data was collected with a Seabird 911 Plus CTD sampling at 24 frames/second with 2 conductivity and 2 temperature sensors. Salinity offset was determined by applying pre- and post-season factory calibration values, interpolated linearly over the course of the season on a monthly basis. The following offset was applied to the CTD data: Salinity -0.00000 Fluorometer, Transmissomter, PAR and D2B data are all reported as voltages (full range 0-5 volts) and have not been subjected to any quality control.
