DATA SET OVERVIEW:
Dissolved Organic Carbon and Nitrogen as well as dissolved
amino acids. Reported DON values were calculated by subtracting 
inorganic nitrogen species(NO3+NO2+NH4) from TDN.  Reported values of 
dissolved amino acids are summed concentrations of 18 individually 
measured amino acids. Concentrations of individual amino acids will be 
made available upon request.
-Hly0402 data are for spring cruise 2004
-Hly0403 data are for summer cruise 2004

INSTRUMENT DESCRIPTION:
DOC/TN - Shimadzu TOCV-CSN
Amino acids - Agilent High Performance Liquid Chromatography
(HPLC) system with a Licrosphere RP18 (end capped) 4 x 250
mm column with 5  m particles



DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING:
Water samples were collected by CTD.  All samples from <
300m depth were GFF filtered.  All samples were frozen until
analysis in the home laboratory

Data are presented as an Excel Workbook.  The first page
contains all data from cruise hly0402, the second sheet
contains all data from hly0403
