The sun photometer was calibrated by the Solar Light Company before the field campaign. Uncertainty in the aerosol optical depth is less than 0.01 [Holben et al., 1998]. 3.0 DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING: Spectral aerosol optical depth (AOT) were measured several times daily in the clear-sky conditions (cloud free). 4.0 DATA FORMAT: Tab delimited ASCII 5.0 DATA REMARKS: DATA VERSION = 1.0 (August 27, 2001), PRELIMINARY REMARKS = SZA - Solar Zenith Angle REMARKS = AOT380, AOT440, AOT500, AOT675, and AOT870 refer to aerosol optical depth at 380 nm, 400, 500, 675 and 870 nm, repectively REMARKS = Data point Date/Time provided in UTC 6.0 REFERENCES: Holben, B.N., et al., AERONET-A federated instrument network and data archive for aerosol characterization.
