DOE ARM SGP Radiosonde Data 1.0 General Description This data set contains 2-second vertical resolution radiosonde data from the Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Southern Great Plains (SGP) site. Radiosondes are released at the ARM Central Facility every 6 hours (00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC). The ARM SGP Boundary Facilities only release radiosondes during special Intensive Observing Period. These stations are located in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. This data set covers the period from 1 July 2001 through present. The data are in netCDF format. 2.0 Contacts Dr. Barry M.
