NODC Buoy Data

The files in this directory are compressed copies of the F291
(Buoy Data).

The naming convention for directories is YYYYMM (year and month of 
observation), for files it is BUOYID_YYYYMM.Z (5 char buoy id, year 
and month, and a Z because the file was compressed using the unix
compress command).

If you are interested in the data that is available on
CD-ROM, information is available via the World Wide Web at
