This network includes a number of stations around the state of Texas. This data set covers the period from 20 May to 31 July 2003. These data are in comma-delimited ASCII format. 2.0 INSTRUMENT DESCRIPTION 2.1 Instrumentation The instrumentation is the same at all sites. The wind and temperature instruments are located at the top of 10 meter towers at all sites. 2.2 Station Locations Station location information is included in an excel file included with the data order. The file is named: tnrcc_lat_long.xls 3.0 DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING UCAR/JOSS conducted no processing or quality control on these data. 4.0 DATA FORMAT AND FILE NAMING 4.1 Data Format These data are in comma-delimited ASCII format. Each parameter has a separate data file containing data from all sites that measure that parameter. Examine the header portion of each file to determine the units and station identifiers. To get the station locations match the station identifiers from the header of the data file with the station identifiers from the excel station location file.
