Global GTS Surface Synoptic Observations in GEMPAK Format https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/100.012 Summary The GTS Three-Hourly Synoptic Observation Data set is one of several surface data sets collected by the National Center for Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL). Included in the data set are the global three-hourly synoptic observations. These data are contained in daily files which are in GEMPAK format. The data were aquired via the UNIDATA Local Data Manager (LDM). As of 21 May 2024, this gempak dataset will not be continuing to collect any real-time data.
