TN250 Multibeam Data [Shull/UW] https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/102.193 Summary This dataset includes data from the Multibeam Echo Sounder data system onboard the UNOLS R/V Thompson ship during the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) 2010 TN250 (summer) cruise. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. The multibeam system, which is the EM300, is designed to do mapping from 10m depth to beyond the continental rises, including the shallower ocean basins. It operates down to approximately 5000 m depth with swath widths up to about 5000 m. The data files have been collected into tar files, with one tar file for each day.
