Collaborative Research: Impact of sea-ice on bottom-up and top-down controls of crustacean zooplankton and the mediation of carbon and energy flow in the eastern Bering Sea: Themisto libellula This dataset includes all records on measured lengths of hyperiid Themisto libellula collected with MOCNESS tows during the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) cruises tn249 and tn250 on RV Thomas G. Thompson in May-June 2010. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. MOCNESS was fished in 20 m depth increments from 100 m or near the bottom to the surface. The individual T. libellula total lengths (in mm) were measured with digitizing board. The dataset consists of 9 fields: CRUISEID, TOW – consecutive MOCNESS tow number, NET – MOCNESS individual net number, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, MIN_DEP – net minimum depth (m), MAX_DEP – net maximum depth (m), SPLIT – fraction of the sample used for T. libellula measurements, LENGTH – T. libellula total length (microns).
