Underwater Acoustic Data from Yahtse Glacier, Icy Bay, Alaska https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/106.372 Summary This dataset contains passive hydroacoustic recordings from an autonomous hydrophone (Passive Aquatic Listener (PAL)) moored in Icy Bay, Alaska. Data were collected in three deployments: 13 May 2009 through 19 July 2009, 20 July 2009 through 19 July 2010, and 27 July 2011 through 29 July 2011. PAL spectral data are contained in two tab-delimited ASCII text files. PAL sound bite data are in WAV format, archived by deployment number. The WAV files can be read by any audio processing software, but certain computer software and sound cards may have a limited sampling frequency. Please see documentation listed below for more information regarding data formats, collection, and processing.
