These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
The radiation data are derived from the National Solar Radiation Data Base (NSRDB) hourly data in synoptic format, and provided by the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). They contain hourly global horizontal solar irradiance, direct normal solar irradiance, and diffuse horizontal solar irradiance for 17 Solar and Meteorological Surface Observation Network (SAMSON) stations in Alaska from January 1, 1961 through December 31, 1990. The data are distributed with permission from NCDC.
