These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This dataset consists of high volume (1.15 m3min-1) impactor measurements of size distributed aerosol ions taken aboard the Discoverer ship by H. Sievering and J. Slavich in collaboration with NOAA/PMEL over the South Pacific (30 S-40 S, 160W - 155E). The dataset contains six size cuts of aerosol data (<0.4, 0.4-0.9, 0.9-2.3, 2.3-4.5, 4.5-8, and >8 microns ambient dia.) All ion data are in units of nmol m-3. An update of the data regarding size cuts may be provided in the future.
