Japan Minami-daito-Jima High Resolution Radiosonde Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/110.105 Summary This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the THORPEX Pacific Asian Regional Campaign (T-PARC). It includes 145 High Resolution (2 second) Radiosonde soundings from Minami Daito Jima, Okinawa, Japan. The soundings were typically released twice daily between 1 August and 30 September 2008. During periods of tropical activity there were more frequent releases. The raw data were provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). NCAR/EOL converted the data to EOL Sounding Composite Format and conducted automated and visual quality control checks.
