PROBEX Gosan High Resolution Radiosonde Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/110.109 Summary This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the THORPEX Pacific Asian Regional Campaign (T-PARC). It includes 127 high vertical resolution (2-second) radiosonde soundings from the Gosan, South Korea (WMO 47185) Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) station released as part of the Predictability and Observation Experiment (PROBEX). The soundings were typically released four times per day (00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC) from 24 August to 4 October 2008. NCAR/EOL converted these soundings to the EOL Sounding Composite (ESC) columnar ASCII format and conducted a series of quality control checks.
