PACS Region GTS Sounding Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/15.202 Summary This data set contains all land- and ship-based upper air sounding data available from GTS over the region from 30 N to 60 S latitude and 30 to 180 W longitude as collected by NCAR/SCD. It includes only mandatory and significant level data. It includes site identifier information, wind speed and direction, surface and sea level pressure, air temperature, and dew point depression. These data have undergone no quality control. A new version of these data was released on 27 January 2005 to correct significant problems. See the readme for details. NOTE: Each file contains soundings based on release time rather than nominal time. Be aware that if you are looking for soundings with a nominal time of 00:00:00, it may be contained within the previous day's files, so order both days.
