NSF/NCAR C-130 Aerosol Cloud Particle Imager (CPI) Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/205.004 Summary The Cloud Particle Imager captures high-resolution images (pixel size 2.3 microns) using a CCD camera. The CPI has two Particle Detector Sensor lasers that instruct the camera to capture an image. This dataset contains binary image files of cloud particles which can be viewed using the IDL software linked to below. The data were collected during the Instrument Development and Education in Airborne Science Phase 3 (IDEAS-3) project which took place from 15 August 2003 to 22 September 2003.
