HS3 2012 Global Hawk Dropsonde Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/348.002 Summary NOAA/NASA Global Hawk Dropsonde data from six research flights conducted between September 7 and 26, 2012 for the Hurricane and Severe Storm Sentinel (HS3) project. The GH is equipped with an NCAR/NOAA dropsonde system specially designed for remote operation. 337 quality controlled soundings in EOL file format are avilable. Version 5 of the dataset was corrected for a dry bias of the RH sensor and dewpoint was recomputed, however in creating these we lost the GPS filtering correction that had been applied to version 3. Version 6 contains both the dry corrections and the GPS filtering of latitude, longitude and altitude.
