National Weather Service High Resolution Radiosonde https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/383.008 Summary The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) routinely releases radiosondes two times per day (00 and 12 UTC) and does occasional special releases at other times of day (usually 18 UTC) from sites across the Pacific Ocean. This dataset includes the quality controlled NWS soundings released from 8 stations located within the CONvective TRansport of Active Species in the Tropics (CONTRAST) domain for the field phase (1 January to 28 February 2014). A total of 926 quality controlled, high resolution (1-second) soundings are contained in the final CONTRAST dataset.
