These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
DMSP consists of three near polar orbiting satellites that provide global microwave data from the Special Sensor Micro-wave Imager. SSM/I provides water vapor measurements (1400 km swath) at three frequencies (19.35, 37.0 and 85.5 GHz). Up to 4 DMSP overpasses of the Florida area were made daily.
