ORCAS Medusa Flask Sampler Flask Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/490.019 Summary The Medusa Flask Sampler flask data contains measurements of O2/N2, CO2, and Ar/N2. The data were collected by the NSF/NCAR GV HIAPER (Gulfstream-V High-performance Instrumented Airborne Platform for Environmental Research) aircraft (Tail Number N677F) during the ORCAS (O2/N2 Ratio and CO2 Airborne Southern Ocean Study) campaign. For Medusa O2 data, this has included some additional flask screening, updates to the Ar/N2 correction. For AO2 O2 data, this has included more extensive QAQC and filtering updates, revisions to the time-or-flight and mean offset corrections, and implementation of an empirical ascent/descent correction, as described in the paper.
