NASA DC-8 NCAR/EOL Dropsonde Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/501.001 Summary Dropsonde sounding profile data from the NASA DC-8 medium altitude research aircraft. A total of 95 dropsonde soundings were collected during 11 research flights primarily off the west coast of Central and South America. All 95 quality-controlled soundings are contained in the final dropsonde data set.
