NCAS Manchester Radar Wind Profiler 1290MHz Alvaiade Data

Project:

Summary

This dataset contains the wind profile, signal-to-noise ratio, and spectral width data from the 1290 MHz radar wind profiler operated by the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) Atmospheric Measurement Facility (AMF) and located at the Perdigao operations center in Alvaiade, Portugal during the Perdigao field project in 2017. The profiler is a Degreane Horizon 3-beam UHF radar boundary layer wind profiler operating at 1290 MHz. This dataset includes 1 minute and 15 minute wind data for both the low and high range in NetCDF format as well as browse imagery.
