NOAA/ARL/ATDD DJI S-1000 and MD4-1000 sUAS Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/541.004 Summary This data set contains observations from the NOAA Air Resources Laboratory, Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (NOAA/ARL/ATDD) DJI S-1000 small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) and the Microdrone MD4-1000 sUAS flights conducted around Cullman, Alabama during the VORTEX-SE 2017 field campaign. Both aircraft were instrumented to make measurements of air temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure while in flight. The DJI S-1000 was also equipped to measure the Earth's surface temperature while in flight. The DJI S-1000 conducted flights on 25 and 27 March and 5 and 28 April 2017. The MD4-1000 flights were all conducted on 28 April 2017.
