These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This data set contains Cloud Concentration Nuclei (CCN) data from the two miniaturized CCN counters (mCCNc) that were operated by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography on-board the NSF/NCAR GV HIAPER aircraft during SOCRATES. They provide measurements of the horizontal and vertical spatial variability of CCN number concentrations, CCN spectra, and aerosol hydroscopicity. One mCCNc was at a fixed supersaturation for high spatial resolution and the second was operated at a range of supersaturation values to retrieve the CCN spectra. These data are in ICARTT format.
