Himawari Visible, Infrared, and Water Vapor Satellite Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/552.029 Summary This dataset contains the ten minute resolution 1km visible (channel 3), 4km infrared (channel 13), and 4km water vapor (channel 8) data from the Himawari satellite during SOCRATES. These data were provided by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. The data are from Himawari-8 except for a short period on 13-14 February when it underwent a maintenance period and Himawari-9 data are used. The data are in McIDAS AREA file format.
