GTS Hourly Marine Observation Data (GEMPAK) https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/68.008 Summary The GTS Hourly Marine Observation Data is one of several surface data sets collected by the National Center For Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL) as part of the Dynamics and Chemistry of Marine Stratocumulus Phase II: Entrainment Studies (DYCOMS-II) project. Included in the data set are the global hourly surface marine observations from buoys and ships of opportunity. These data are contained in daily files which are in GEMPAK format. The data cover the period from 7 - 28 July 2001. The data were acquired via the UNIDATA Local Data Manager (LDM).
