NOAA/NESDIS California Coast SST Imagery https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/68.049 Summary The NOAA/NESDIS California Coast SST Imagery (GIF) is one of several surface products collected as part of the Dynamics and Chemistry of Marine Stratocumulus PhaseII: Entrainment Studies (DYCOMS-II) project field catalogoperated by the National Center For Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL: http://catalog.eol.ucar.edu/dycoms). The images are produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) every few days and include sea surface temperatures. The products cover the period from 19-29 July 2001 and cover the region from about 28-41 N and 115-135 W. The products were acquired from the NOAA/NESDIS. All images are in GIF format.
