Summary
This dataset consists of monthly GIF images of Land Cover (vegetation)
provided by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), EROS Data Center (EDC) for
GCIP/GIST. These Land Cover mosaics were produced from AVHRR imagery and are
but a sample of the detailed land cover database available from EDC on CD-ROM.
