NASA DC-8 Advanced Microwave Moisture Sounder (AMMS) Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/80.019 Summary This data set contains the microwave brightness temperatures from the Advanced Microwave Moisture Sounder (AMMS) that was on-board the NASA DC-8 aircraft that flew out of Townsville, Australia during the TOGA COARE field project. For TOGA COARE the AMMS was combined with other radiometers in the same aircraft to measure the radiometric response of convective rainfall systems in the frequency range of 10-183 GHz. The data are in an ASCII format. Identifiers * Local archive identifier: 80.019 * doi:10.5065/D6V69HF6 https://doi.org/10.5065/D6V69HF6 Versions 1.0 Citation Wang, J., Racette, P. 2018.
