POES NOAA AVHRR Imagery https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/85.009 Summary This dataset contains the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) imagery collected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellite (POES) system from the area and time of interest of the Bow Echo and Mesoscale Convective Vortex Experiment (BAMEX) 2003 project. Images from four channels of the AVHRR aboard NOAA 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are included all at a 1km resolution. Additional information is available at NOAA Mapped Mosaics website.
