Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) 1-min Data https://data.eol.ucar.edu/dataset/85.059 Summary This data set contains 1-minute resolution surface meteorological data from the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) stations located across the BAMEX region. These data were retrieved from two sources during the BAMEX period (12 May to 09 July 2003). Data for some stations were retrieved via modem by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research/Joint Office for Science Support (UCAR/JOSS) several times per day. Each of these files contains 12 hours of data for a single station so some overlap between files is expected. The remaining stations were downloaded from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) monthly. Each of these files contains one months worth of data for a single station. The data are in ASCII format.
