These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This data set contains data collected during the T-REX experiment from an outdoor, three-dimensional, in-situ calibrated hot-film anemometry system (OTIHS). The system was deployed for EOP-2, 3, 4 and 5 (which occurred on 30 Mar, 19 Apr, 28 Apr, 29 Apr, and 30 Apr) at the ISFF Central site: on a 5 m tower adjacent to a 30 m tower. There were three systems at 1.4 m, 2.0 m, and 3.0 m above ground and above brush of 0.8m average height. Each OTIHS was embedded within a Campbell CSAT3 sonic anemometer operated at 60Hz providing u, v, w, and Tc (here in 1 second averages).
