These data are available to be used subject to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research ("UCAR") terms and conditions.
This dataset contains soil moisture and temperature data collected during the Terrain-Induced Rotor Experiment (T-REX). The data are in both text and matlab formats. These readings were taken 01 Jan to 30 Apr 2006 at 23 sites around Independence, California in the Owens Valley.
