This Special Obervation Surface METAR Data set is one of several surface data sets collected by the National Center for Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL). Included in the data set are the special METAR observations for the TREX area of interest. These data are contained in day files and are in EOL surface composite ascii format. The data were aquired via the UNIDATA Local Data Manager (LDM).
