All the data in this directory are the flux mesurements from R/V Kexue #1 during the TOGA COARE IOP. The ship was located at (156E, 4S) and anchored. Its on-station periods are: 1st: Noverber 10 through December 12, 1992, 2nd: December 19, 1992 through January 23, 1993, 3rd: February 1 through February 20, 1992. Flux measurements were made four times a day ussually at the local time 0400, 1000, 1600 2200 (local time equals to UTC time plus 10 hours) and 24 minute data record for each time. All data were sampled at 10 Hz. All the wind speeds in these data files were corrected for ship motion which were mesured by a six-accelerometer system. The data file name indicates the time of starting measurements, e.g. 010507_crr.dat means this data record strated from 7am January 5, 1993. The "_crr" indicates the winds were corrected for ship motion. Each data file contains either three or four columns. The first three columns are the longitudal (along the ship heading), lateral (cross the heading), and normal components of turbulent winds (unit is m/s). The fourth column is specific humidity (unit is g/kg). Sometimes there is no humidity data because of the Lyman-alpha malfunction.
