These manual measurements are manually recorded on snowboards by ski resort personnel, typically between October and mid-April, with some variation. Steamboat Resort officially records and publishes their daily snow measurements at 5:00 a.m. Mountain Time. This 5 a.m. report reveals how much new snow has fallen at mid-mountain and the summit over the previous 24 hours.
