Stomach contents of birds collected at sea (B77)

Project:

Summary

This dataset contains data on the dissected stomach contents of birds collected in waters within 200 kilometers of the Pribilof Islands, St. George and St. Paul and extending southeastward to Bogoslof Island in 2008 and 2009. Birds were collected by shotgun and tissue samples of cheek feather, muscle, and liver were removed for stable isotope analyses. Whole stomachs were sent frozen to University of Alaska Fairbanks for identification. The carcasses were re-frozen immediately after organ and feather tissue removal, and stored at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories for further studies.
