The Barrow Area Information Database (BAID) snow fence layer includes data for the village of Barrowon Alaska's North Slope.
BAID is designed to enhance logistics and research planning efforts. Several studies of the cryoshere have sampling points, transects and instrumentation along the snow fences where a large amount of blowing snow accumulates.
