Abstract:

The data described in this metadata record files containing sampling cruise name, sampling station, Gear type, sampling time (AKT time), maximum sampling depth, sampling date, bathymetry (bottom depth), sampling location (latitude and logitude), and catch (per 10m^2 and 1000m^3) of pollock eggs. Historical survey data from 1979-2009 were collected in the eastern Bering Sea during ichthyoplankton surveys of the Alaska Fisheries Science Center.

Purpose:

Catch data of walleye pollock eggs from ichthyoplankton surveys provide information for understanding the spatial distribution during their early life stages.
